The Hospital

We have two lovely Hospital wings which accommodate 55 clients assessed as requiring Hospital level care. Our skilled and caring registered nurses work directly with the clients in their care and supervise experienced caregivers.

We have a Quality Management system in place which gives consistency of care over 24 hours, seven days per week. Health and safety issues are addressed for our clients as well as our staff, as are issues of patients' rights. Patient Advocates take regular meetings or are available as needed.

A team of five General Practitioners visit the home on a rotating daily basis and each client is assigned to a particular Doctor. Clients may choose to continue with their own external GP.

Hospital Clients are able to enjoy the many occupational therapy activities and receive inhouse physiotherapy on referral from their Doctor or the nursing staff, trips and a range of interesting and stimulating activities are part of daily life.

A Dietitian reviews each clients requirements on admission and is available for follow up consultation. Wherever possible individual preferences are catered for.
