Elizabeth Knox Home and Hospital is an Eden Alternative home transforming care for elders and younger people with physical disability. At Knox, plants, animals, children and meaningful activity are part of our daily life. Greater energy and optimism is our hallmark.

We are looking for exceptional people with curiosity, a warm heart and an innovative spirit. Like our residents who take every opportunity for continued growth and well-being, we expect our team to demonstrate a willingness to grow and learn every day.

We are looking for experienced Registered Nurses who may have experience in a range of health care settings. You will have a commitment to supporting and role-modelling superb hands-on clinical care. Clinical mentors take clinical leadership of homes of approximately 21-22 residents.

We acknowledge that our sector looks to balance sub-acute care with a strong community-based, well-being focus. You will have the wisdom to see ability, and not disability, in the elders who make Knox their home.

Knox provides a supportive environment with opportunities for your growth. If you are keen to develop professionally and make a positive contribution to the Knox community we should meet.

Applicants for this position must be legally entitled to work in New Zealand and have a current Annual Practicing Certificate.

"As an RN at Knox, we are not solely attending to the medical and nursing needs of our residents – we also have the opportunity to be an advocate for them."
