We are looking to strengthen our support of great resident care by providing overnight on-site leadership and support for our team. This is a new role which forms part of the senior nursing leadership team.

Elizabeth Knox Home and Hospital is an Eden Alternative home transforming care for elders and younger people with physical disability. At Knox we focus on our contribution to the Knox and wider community, creating a community where great care is the norm and where “meaning” is an everyday part of life. Greater energy and optimism is our hallmark.

We are looking for an exceptional person with curiosity, excellent clinical skills who knows what good looks like, “spark” and an innovative spirit. Like our residents, who take every opportunity for continued growth and improved well-being, we expect our team to demonstrate a willingness to grow and learn every day.

We are looking for experienced Registered Nurse who may have experience in a range of health care settings. You will have a commitment to supporting and role-modelling superb hands-on clinical care.

We acknowledge that our sector looks to balance sub-acute care with a strong community-based, well-being focus. You will have the wisdom to see ability and not disability, in the elders who make Knox their home.

Knox provides a supportive environment with opportunities for your growth. If you are keen to develop professionally and make a positive contribution to the Knox community we should meet.

This is a full-time role. Nights of work can be negotiated.

Applicants for this position must be legally entitled to work in New Zealand and have a current Annual Practicing Certificate.

"As an RN at Knox, we are not solely attending to the medical and nursing needs of our residents – we also have the opportunity to be an advocate for them."
